A Kiss is A Kiss

A tough looking group of bikers were out riding when they saw a girl about to jump off a bridge so they stopped.

The leader, a big burly man, gets off his bike and says, "What are you doing?"

"I'm going to commit suicide," she says.

While he did not want to appear insensitive, he didn't want to miss an opportunity so he asked... "Well, before you jump, why don't you give me a kiss?"

So she does... And it was a long, deep lingering kiss.

After she's finished, the biker says, "Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had. That's a real talent you are wasting. You could be famous. Why are you committing suicide?"

"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl......"

Oh come on, you know you laughed when you read this -- too damn funny, right? BTW on my walk this morning I looked up (I do this now and then) and what to my wondering eyes should appear but geese/or ducks in that infamous V-formation.  All I could think was "this better be a practice run cause its way to early to be heading south!"  My second thought was --"these are really dumb ass geese/ducks if they are headed south this early!"

OMG April 1st

No, no and furthermore NO, this is not an April's Fool's joke...I truly do plan to put on my tennis shoes and take a nice lovely walk this morning.

You see, I am still RBSing (retirement baby sitting) but I don't get the darling boy until 9:30 today so I got plenty of time to get in a nice long walk, get back and even shower before he arrives and our fun really begins.

Okay, big freaking deal, right?  I know lots of jokes will be floating around today -- hope I recognize them!

I may be back later -- I can hear birds singing, maybe I'll spot a cardinal this morning, my sister tells me they are seen all over Syracuse -- of course it is mating season, so they are chirping away like crazy.

Okay, I am back and wow, was that walk just what I needed -- brisk but not too cold and guess what, cardinals are singing their little mouths off and I got photos -- wish to hell I would of had my bigger camera but hey, these aren't bad:

Okay,that was fun.  Perhaps Clint and I will see more interesting stuff on our stroller hike later on today...loveing this warmer weather!

Blister + Hike = Better Blisters

Oh what a beautiful day. First off, it was a great sleeping night as the temps went down into the low 30s and yes, there was frost on the pumpkins this morning.

Yet the day slowly warmed up and the Fall colors are just calling for everyone to get outside and see them. My daughter and I decided we'd check out Lampson Falls. This is located near Degrass and quite easy to find and a nice, relaxing hike too. Yes, I had blisters from my 6 mile trek earlier in the week and they have not completely heeled but as this was not a pavement hike, I was okay.

Now, we didn't get down far enough to take any really good "falls" photos because we missed the "foot trail" tag and went the other way, which was still a nice trek. I say nice with tongue in cheek as this sucker was mostly uphill and some hills just challenge me more than I wish to be challenged.

But we did get near the water and it was great and the leaves are turning and the colors -wow-- they are beautiful. Moose (the dog) was also with us and he loved it. When we saw other folks on the path, we'd call Moose back and make him stay with us, so as not to scare folks. He is just a very friendly dog but other folks don't realize this and hey, I don't want a dog rushing up to me either.

I'll will add photos if this program will allow it -- lately, it's been giving me an "attitude" about photos and I'm ready to give it a kick in the ass to show it, I'm the boss.

All in all folks a great day, always fun hanging with my girl and pregnant or not, she still can out walk me any ole day...she slows down for Mama, thank goodness.
