GADGETS & THINGS

I thought it would be fun (oh hell, just smile and go along with this nonsense) to show you a few of the gadgets that I purchased, was given or “borrowed” last year.

How many can you identify? Ain't as easy as you thought, is it? Now keep in mind that hunting for gadgets is a fun exercise, relatively inexpensive and some items I have no idea what purpose they serve but they appealed to me, just because I could not figure them out!

Come on, we all need a hobby and this one is harmless and does create some hardy laughs which in turn creates some odd looks, which in turn doesn’t bother me one iota! The challenge is to find these silly gadgets and that means hunting in some of the oddest stores in whatever town, village, ciTAY or state you happen to visit. Again, this is cheap entertainment and purchases are usually under $5. Ya, see I told you it was cheap entertainment.

Okay I admit a few items were given to me as gifts. For example that HUGE cheese grater – you might grate a small nutmeg with it and that would be all. Or the “one egg fry pan and spatula,” that was this year’s gift. Go ahead, look in your kitchen cupboard, drawers, boxes and you’ll discover you have some odd kitchen gadgets too and just looking at them will make you smile as you recall “why, when, where, what and how” you got them. Hey, what else you got to do today?

This is nothing more than a bag for the car which can hold your cell phone, GPS if you are against mounting it on the windshield and could also hold other items, aka gum, Kleenex, hell even the baby's pacifier. Its just another gadget that comes in handy.

The bird feeder for the "windy challenged birds!"

How come it takes so little time for a child who is afraid of the dark to become a teenager who wants to stay out all night?
